Eye care company Alcon comes to Altorffer Printing Company for printing, POS materials and, since this year, an order portal. Prindustry complements graphic partners with software and also delivered the desired portal for Altorffer to complete the communication process for Alcon. The outcome: a satisfied Alcon! “We now offer all opticians in the Benelux a modern ordering portal in which they order our marketing materials,” says Altorffer.
“The platform had to have a unified structure and be user-friendly for all opticians and pharmacies that sell Alcon products,” explains Sophie Laros, project manager at Altorffer Printing Company. “All communication materials had to go into it; posters, brochures, bags and there had to be stock management. For this we ended up with Prindustry as the software developer for the platform. We thus started a pleasant cooperation with the final goal of a more modern ordering portal for Alcon.”
Philippe Moons, Digital Marketing Manager at Alcon, clarifies, “We supply our products to hundreds of opticians who need to be able to use the portal logically. It’s about them selling our contact lenses and eye drops in the best possible way, and we provide them with marketing products to support them. Prindustry’s software appealed to us because it provides a comprehensive B2B ordering platform that allows good management and control. The backend is very important to us. There you can create your own assortments, assign permissions and track inventory. The whole process is manageable.”
All parties are very satisfied with the new ordering portal. Philippe concludes, “It is a fantastic user platform for our end customers to order marketing materials and print on demand. It works efficiently and quickly, with no barriers for users. The platform is easy to customize and allows good analysis. The flexibility of the portal is tremendous.”
